Until Filled Summary This position will work directly with prosecutors to support felony and misdemeanor prosecutions and related legal functions of the District Attorney's Office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Demonstrate the ability to draft and proofread legal documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain and manage case files in both physical and electronic formats, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely updates. Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, court personnel, victim advocates, and other offices to gather records, and documentation relevant to pending cases. Track deadlines, court settings, and case schedules. Communicate professionally and courteously with the public on behalf of the office. Perform other duties including using a multi-line phone system, as needed to support office operations. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all case-related information and office matters. Knowledge/Skills/Training Expertise with data entry Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams; ability to learn case management software. Excellent time management skills to perform duties under high stress, often dealing with multiple tasks and competing deadlines in a fast-paced office environment while maintaining organization and composure. Strong written and verbal communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other county employees and officials, law enforcement, attorneys, private businesses and the general public. Dependable attendance record and consistent adherence to office schedules, deadlines, and professional standards.
