Compensation will be $14-20 to start depending on experience . We will entertain a short transition period from part time to full time if the candidate requires it but must be ready to commit to full time within 6 months. Looking to hire the right individual for solo law practice concentrating in Landlord/Tenant, Real Estate, Business, Contract law, Evictions, Foreclosures, Estate Planning, Probate, and Litigation. Position also involves administrative work related to real estate investments, real estate brokerage, and some personal assistant work. Paralegal certificates, experience in real estate brokerage, real estate leasing, or any of the other practice areas mentioned above is a plus, but at a minimum must have worked in a fast paced law office environment concentrating in one of the following fields: litigation, real estate, business law, landlord-tenant, family law, probate, or estate planning. Bilingual is preferred but not required. Ideal candidate must pay attention to detail and have an overall great mastery of the English language including grammar and punctuation. Must be a self starter, efficient, and able to take instructions without repetition. Of course proficiency with Microsoft Word, use of a computer, and experience e-filing, scheduling, calendaring, answering phones, legal drafting, and organizational skills are a must.
