Full Job Description Overview:
The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated Coding Specialist. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The Coding Specialist is responsible for accurately applying coding guidelines and efficiently coding approximately 350-400 procedures per day. This position requires strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and staff, as well as proficiency in the organization's EPM/EHR computer system and related software applications. Responsibilities also include processing claims, researching patient accounts, and assisting with other duties as assigned.

Education required:
HS/GED Lisence/Certification:
CPC or AHIMA Experience:
Knowledge of CPT Codes andICD-10 Codes Coding experience preferred One year of experience in a health care organization preferred
