The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement. Must have experience working denials, payment posting, adjustment review, clearing house experience and using insurance portal. This position requires you to be in the office. Duties

• Review and verify patients' insurance coverage
• Process billing statements and follow up on unpaid claims
• Maintain patient billing records and resolve any billing discrepancies
• Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients regarding billing issues
• Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines Experience
• Previous experience in medical billing, medical collections, or medical office administration is preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and insurance companies
