Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller / RCM Reporting Analyst with strong expertise in both medical billing and healthcare data/reporting . The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of the complete revenue cycle and the analytical skills to identify trends, investigate revenue issues, and provide meaningful reporting to management. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor medical billing, claims follow-up, denials, A/R, underpayments, and collections. Research and resolve rejected, denied, unpaid, and underpaid claims. Analyze billing and reimbursement data to identify trends, discrepancies, and revenue opportunities. Prepare and maintain RCM reports and dashboards, including: Weekly collection reports Charges and collections A/R aging and Days in A/R Denials and rejection trends Payment and reimbursement trends Underpayments and write-offs Payer and provider performance Month end reports Other financial, operational, and RCM reports as requested by management Perform monthly revenue cycle analysis and explain significant variances. Reconcile billing data and investigate discrepancies down to the claim/transaction level. Provide management with actionable recommendations to improve collections and RCM performance. Qualifications 3+ years of medical billing/RCM experience. Strong knowledge of claims, insurance A/R, denials, payment posting, and reimbursement. Experience with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial payers. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and large datasets. Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, modifiers, EOBs/ERAs, and denial codes. Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus. Multi-specialty or physician-practice billing experience preferred. We are specifically looking for someone who can work effectively at both levels—investigating individual billing and claim issues while also analyzing large datasets to identify broader RCM trends and opportunities.
