The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical billing processes, coding systems, and insurance procedures. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately submitting claims, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring timely reimbursement for medical services rendered. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient revenue cycle management while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Responsibilities Submit insurance claims accurately and timely Follow up on unpaid and denied claims Post insurance and patient payments Review EOBs and resolve billing discrepancies Verify insurance benefits as needed Maintain accurate billing records Maintain and review accounts receivable (AR) reports Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing issues Qualifications 1-2 years of medical billing experience preferred Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance billing processes Experience with EHR or billing software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial insurance plans Experience with specialty or outpatient billing
