Medical Billing Specialist Position:

We are seeking a full-time Medical Billing and Collections Specialist for a dermatology practice

Job Responsibilities:

• Medical billing and charge entry for PPO, Medicare, IPA and Workers Comp
• Submitting claims to an insurance company
• Insurance payment posting
• Collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced goal oriented collections department
• Monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts
• Handling invoice discrepancies
• High volume phone calls to assigned delinquent customers and reducing delinquency for these accounts
• Providing excellent & considerate customer service regarding collection issues, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies
• Attention to detail
• Claim investigations if claim is not paid

Requirements:

• MUST have experience as a medical biller
• A team player with a positive attitude Efficiency with responsibilities
