Our ideal applicant to join our team is smart, outgoing and energetic, and would be happiest following in both front office billing and sales, as well as the back office, assisting with patient procedures. However, we are open to explore the possibility of a scribe/ charting & coding-only position, or a medical assisting-only position for the right candidate. Experience in aesthetics preferred. This position will require patient quoting, scheduling, entering chart notes and documentation into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) with corresponding ICD and CPT codes, insurance verification, and collecting co-pays, account balances, as well as fees for cosmetic services. We are a small office and, as needed, in this position you will be required at times to follow and observe the doctor to accurately document every aspect of every patient encounter. You will be expected to work collaboratively as part of our team to achieve these goals. If you enjoy dermatology procedures, we would love to cross-train you for assisting with procedures in the patient-rooms. If your strong suit is more front-office oriented (greeting clients, explaining co-pays/deductibles/co-insurance, and cosmetic quotes) we would love to cross-train you for reception, and charting/coding to the EMR could be completed in the front office.
