This person, together with the billing team, will handle billings, reconciliations, and collections of DME claims. This person will also communicate with payers, clinician offices, and patients on matters related to claims, including obtaining authorizations, and to serve as a resource for other staff members. Responsibilities Prepare and submit claims to various payers. Identify, resolve, and resubmit denied or rejected claims. Perform payment posting, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and timely collection. Follow federal and local regulations, adhere to all confidentiality policies and procedures, and carry out all tasks in a pleasant and respectful manner. Skills Consistently meet deadlines, and maintain reliable attendance. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare office setting. Well-organized, with strong attention to detail. Able to work independently and within a team setting. Self-Motivated with strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Experience in medical billing, coding, and healthcare claims processes and medical collection procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using billing software. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients, providers, and insurance representatives. Bilingual in English and Vietnamese preferred.

Pay:

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
