A growing surgical sub-specialty group is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our practice. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of the billing and revenue cycle process. Prior ENT/otolaryngology billing experience is highly preferred. Experience billing for a surgical specialty practice will also be strongly considered. Responsibilities Submit and manage professional and surgical claims accurately and efficiently Review documentation, CPT and ICD-10 coding, modifiers, and claim requirements Manage insurance denials, rejections, appeals, and corrected claims Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable and identify opportunities to improve collections Verify payments, contractual adjustments, and payer processing Work through insurance authorization and medical-necessity issues when they affect reimbursement Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and reimbursement issues Identify recurring denial patterns and help develop solutions to prevent them Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and administrative leadership Maintain accurate documentation of billing and collection activity Stay current on payer policies, coding changes, and reimbursement requirements Qualifications Previous medical billing experience required ENT/otolaryngology billing experience highly preferred Surgical specialty billing experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, E/M coding, and surgical billing Experience with commercial insurance, Medicare, and other major payers Experience managing denials, appeals, and accounts receivable Comfortable working with electronic medical records and practice-management systems Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow issues through to resolution What We're Looking For This is an important role within our practice, and we are looking for someone who does more than simply submit claims. Because ENT involves a combination of office visits, in-office procedures, diagnostic testing, and surgery, direct ENT billing experience would be a significant advantage. Pay:

$25.70 - $30.96 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
