Full Job Description Medical Biller, PART-TIME:
Looking for an personable and friendly person, who is organized, detail-oriented, punctual, and a quick learner. Our staff works together as a team to ensure our patients are well served and cared for. You will be responsible for day-to-day operation, budgeting and maintaining medical and staff records. You should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform well in stressful situations at times. Our position requires knowledge of the various insurances including medicare and medicaid. . Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our medical facility. Must have 2+ years of medical billing experience Must be able to successfully work through complex billing situations Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team Please include phone number and resume.
Responsibilities Also include:
Monitor budget and billing payments Order periodic medical and office supplies Supervise office staff, including receptionists, secretaries and cashiers Maintain medical and staff records Liaise with doctors and staff to identify potential office dysfunctions Arrange cleaning staff and emergency maintenance services as necessary Provide informative material for patients Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards Skills Ability to handle medical records discreetly Knowledge of medical issues and terminology Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations Communication skills and a customer service orientation
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
