$20-$23 per hour About the Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented Charge Entry Specialist to join the billing team of a well-established specialty medical practice in Altamonte Springs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical billing professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency. The Charge Entry Specialist will play an important role in supporting the practice's billing operations by ensuring charges are entered accurately and timely for multiple providers. Key Responsibilities Enter a high volume of charges accurately and efficiently for multiple providers Review charge information carefully to ensure accuracy and completeness Maintain high productivity and accuracy while meeting daily deadlines Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced billing environment Apply knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT codes to ensure accurate charge entry Identify and address discrepancies or errors as needed Maintain consistent attention to detail throughout the charge entry process Work collaboratively with the billing team and other departments to support efficient revenue cycle operations Qualifications 3+ years of experience in charge entry and/or medical billing Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding Solid understanding of medical terminology Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain productivity throughout the workday Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Join Us?
