Job Description

•We've partnered up! Agrowing medical practice is looking for an experienced , detail-oriented, and proactive RCM Billing & Collections Specialist to join their team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong revenue cycle background who enjoys working denials, collections, and the full billing process while helping keep the practice's financial operations running smoothly.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday (No Weekends!)
Monday-Thursday:
8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM - 1:30 PM Two days per week, the schedule is extended to complete a 40-hour workweek. What you'll be doing: Review, validate, and submit electronic and paper claims to commercial and government insurance carriers. Monitor accounts receivable to identify unpaid, delayed, or aging claims. Investigate, appeal, and resolve denied or rejected claims. Post insurance payments, ERAs, EOBs, and patient payments accurately. Assist patients with billing questions, payment plans, balances, co-pays, and deductibles. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, payer guidelines, and internal policies. Track and report billing metrics, denial trends, collections, and aging reports. Work closely with providers, insurance companies, and internal staff to resolve billing issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of medical billing, collections, and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience.
MUST HAVE
Experience working with eClinicalWorks Hub and eClinicalWorks Spoke. Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier usage. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing and appeals. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. CRCR or CPB certification is a plus, but not required. Pay:
$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): Please describe your experience in medical billing, RCM, and collections. Include your experience managing claims, AR follow-up, denials, payment posting, insurance verification, patient billing inquiries, KPIs/metrics you have been responsible for, systems or EMRs you have used (especially eClinicalWorks if applicable), and how you prioritize tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a drug test and background check as part of the hiring process. Can you pass both?
