In this vital role, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, ensuring accurate and timely processing of information, and facilitating smooth billing operations. Your expertise will help streamline billing, reduce claim denials, and support the delivery of exceptional service to our clients. Duties Verifying insurance via phone, website and client systems. with precision and efficiency. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by handling all patient information confidentially and securely. Candidates should have proficient friendly communication skills both verbal and written in order to communicate professionally with insurance carriers, clients , patients, etc. Candidates must have the ability to multi task and pay attention to detail. Knowledge of PIP & Workers Comp. Insurance is a plus, but not mandatory as training will be provided in a relaxed atmosphere. Compose correspondence and e-mails for attorney review. Basic computer skills with commonly used software such as excel and Outlook to send e-mails and organize documents. Work efficiently and maintain expected work productivity. Other tasks and duties as assigned. Preferred Experience Prior experience working in a medical office environment. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient privacy and data security. Proven ability to navigate insurance portals and manage electronic health records efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in verifying insurance data accurately. Office experience demonstrating proficiency in handling multiple tasks and high volume claims.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
