Responsibilities Review and validate provider credentials, licenses, certifications, and education records to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Maintain up-to-date credentialing files and databases, ensuring all documentation is complete, organized, and easily accessible. Coordinate with healthcare providers to gather necessary documentation and resolve any discrepancies or missing information promptly. Monitor expiration dates of licenses and certifications, initiating renewal processes well in advance to avoid lapses in credentialing status. Stay informed about evolving credentialing requirements, industry regulations, and best practices to ensure ongoing adherence. Submit and follow up on claims. Handle denials, appeals and payment posting. Qualifications Proven experience in healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple records simultaneously. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and industry-specific software systems. Ability to communicate effectively with providers, team members, and external agencies. Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
