Job Description
Job Overview:
We are a small family owned medical billing company specializing primarily in mental health therapists, psychologists, and nurse practitioners. We use a variety of billing softwares such as Simple Practice, Office Ally, Therapy Notes, Therapy Mate, Availity and SOS. We are seeking an individual experienced with this type of work!Duties:
- Data Entry
- Schedules
- Working AR reports
- Posting Payments
- Working denials
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working in a mental health setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical coding systems such as ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with insurance representatives
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
