Certified Biller and Coder- eCW experience required

Responsibilities:

Perform coding for all physician office visits and vein ablation cases Proactively manage claims processing, including follow-up on all claim statuses to ensure timely resolution Dedicate time to work older claims and ensure appeals are submitted to maximize collections Submit claim batches on a daily basis Post insurance and patient payments accurately on a daily basis Prepare monthly billing reports Educate physician on best practices for procedure documentation to minimize claim denials and returns Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with data privacy standards Identify workflow or operational issues that impact clean claim submission and recommend effective solutions Assess and address issues promptly based on frequency and overall impact Stay current with medical coding and billing updates through ongoing education Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Proven experience as a certified medical biller, coder, or in a similar role Ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong understanding of healthcare safety, sanitation, and compliance standards In-depth knowledge of medical coding and billing terminology, practices, and regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR required Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Demonstrated compassion and the ability to perform effectively under pressure

Pay:

$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
