Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and ensuring patient comfort
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history and treatment plans
• Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any patient concerns or questions `` `

Qualifications:

```

• Valid state dental hygiene license
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Knowledge of dental office procedures and medical terminology
• Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix (onsite training provided)
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
