Vascular Surgery Practice Location:
Chicago Ridge, IL Position:
Full-Time Medical Biller & Coder We are a busy, growing vascular surgery practice seeking an experienced and highly motivated Medical Biller & Coder to join our team. Responsibilities Accurately code and bill vascular surgery procedures, office visits, and diagnostic services Review medical records and assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes Submit and follow up on insurance claims Handle claim denials, rejections, appeals, and payment discrepancies Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Post payments, adjustments, and patient balances Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable Work with physicians and staff to resolve coding and billing issues Stay current with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing requirements Identify billing errors and opportunities to improve collections Maintain compliance with applicable billing and coding regulations Qualifications 2+ years of medical billing and coding experience Experience with surgical billing strongly preferred Vascular surgery experience is a major plus Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding Experience with Medicare and commercial insurance Knowledge of E/M, surgical, and procedural coding Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to independently manage accounts and follow up on outstanding claims Excellent communication and problem-solving skills We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Full-time position Stable, professional medical practice Opportunity for growth and advancement Supportive work environment To apply: Please submit your resume and salary expectations.
