The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Chiropractic billing and be able to handle various administrative tasks with ease. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of a chiropractic, physical therapy and wellness office Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and answering phone calls, text messages or emails as needed Patient and insurance company AR Insurance Verification Calling on denied claims and making the proper corrections Keeping track of memberships and package authorizations Oversee the billing and coding processes, including submitting claims and managing insurance reimbursements Work with patients in the wellness area by setting them up on different equipment, correcting their form, being a support to the patients Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation Communicate with patients and staff in a professional and courteous manner Promote office events such as Health talks, Charities within the community, etc Requirements Knowledge of medical and chiropractic billing and coding procedures and regulations Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work with patients in the wellness area of the clinic - maybe asked to set them up on different wellness machines, work with them on the wellness floor, set up exercises, etc. Having previous rehab experience as a PTA is a plus Ability to work 11pm - 8pm, Monday through Thursday and some Saturday mornings If you are a self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, great work ethic, and a passion for healthcare, please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.
