Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and ensuring timely reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize knowledge of medical billing procedures to submit and follow up on claims
• Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
• Process payments from insurance companies and patients
• Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients regarding billing issues
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
• Stay updated on industry changes and billing regulations

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in medical terminology, medical collection systems, and medical records management
• Experience in medical office operations, medical billing, and coding (ICD-10, ICD-9)
• Familiarity with DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) codes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
