Job Overview The Senior Ophthalmic Medical Biller is responsible for accurate claim submission, insurance follow-up, denial resolution, payment review, and accounts receivable management for a busy multispecialty ophthalmology practice. This role works collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, front-office personnel, and the revenue cycle team to ensure services are properly documented, coded, billed, and reimbursed. What You'll Do Claims Management and Billing Ophthalmic Coding and Reimbursement Accounts Receivable and Insurance Follow-Up Denial Management and Appeals Patient Account Support Leadership and Process Improvement Compliance and Confidentiality What We Look For 3+ years ophthalmic billing in a multispecialty group Miinimum High School diploma Additional Skills & Attributes Excellent customer service and communication Professionalism, congeniality and integrity to patients and coworkers. Critical thinking and math skills Certified Professional Coder credential a plus
