Job Description

Medical Biller Bethesda MD Pay From:
$23 per hour
MUST:
2+ years of full cycle medical billing Strong knowledge of insurance benefits Experience working commercial and non-commercial payors Handling accounts receivables Verifying insurance eligibility Submitting and following up on claims Collections experience Posting payments Experience reviewing insurance benefits with patients Comfortable handling a high volume of patient calls each day Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite Preparing billing reports HS diploma required
DUTIES:
The duties of the Medical Biller include but are not limited to the following: Work with patients to review insurance benefits Follow up with commercial and non commercial payors regarding patient benefits Verify insurance benefits Handle accounts receivable Resolve denied claims Post payments Prepare medical record documentation in order to handle appeals Follow up on past due accounts and handle collections Follow up on and submit claims Prepare billing reports Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
