Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Insurance Biller to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accurate claim submissions, and optimizing revenue cycle management. Your expertise will help streamline our financial operations and enhance patient satisfaction by providing clear communication and efficient service. Duties Prepare and submit dental and medical insurance claims using billing software and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Review and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical coding including CDT (Current Dental Terminology), CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10, and ICD coding standards Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through healthcare claims management processes and medical collection efforts Ensure compliance with health insurance regulations and maintain accurate medical records Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify billing details and resolve discrepancies Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health insurance policies, medical terminology, and billing procedures Generate reports on billing activities, outstanding accounts, and revenue metrics Skills Proficiency in dental/medical billing software, EMR/EHR systems, and Microsoft Office applications Strong understanding of healthcare claims management, dental/medical coding (CDT, CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10), and dental/medical terminology Experience with dental/medical collection processes and patient account follow-up Knowledge of health insurance policies, benefits verification, and reimbursement procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and insurance companies Ability to interpret dental/medical records accurately for billing purposes Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple claims efficiently We value energetic professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute their expertise toward delivering outstanding patient care.
