Ensure compliance with health insurance policies and third-party billing requirements while accurately coding for all services rendered. Prepare and submit electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) claims for reimbursement, verifying all information for accuracy and completeness. Manage the revenue cycle by tracking unpaid claims, following up with insurance providers, and resolving claim denials efficiently. Maintain detailed documentation of medical records, coding decisions, and billing activities to support audits and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation or resolve discrepancies related to medical coding or billing issues. Utilize billing software and EMR/EHR systems to streamline processes, ensure data integrity, and improve overall workflow efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in medical coding and billing within a healthcare setting, with familiarity in

ICD-10, ICD-9, CPT

coding, DRG assignment, and medical terminology. Strong knowledge of health insurance claim processing, third-party billing procedures, and revenue cycle management strategies. Proficiency with billing software platforms and EMR/EHR systems for electronic health record management. Understanding of medical collection processes and insurance reimbursement protocols. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex medical records accurately. Knowledge of medical coding guidelines for inpatient services as well as outpatient procedures.
