Our healthcare partner is seeking a dedicated CMA to join their team, providing compassionate and effective service across multiple clinic locations. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers and ensuring a seamless patient experience. Your responsibilities will include both clinical and administrative tasks, contributing to the efficient operation of the medical office. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical history, and current medications accurately in EMR systems Prepare examination rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available and sanitized Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers and in accordance with established protocols Perform routine laboratory tests and specimen collection, including blood draws and swabs, following proper procedures Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals, coordinating effectively with other healthcare facilities Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans as instructed by the provider Handle patient inquiries both in person and over the phone, providing appropriate information or directing them to the correct healthcare personnel Maintain and update patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date Assist in the management of inventory for medical supplies, ordering and restocking as needed Collaborate with office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and effective patient flow Follow infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment Coordinate with insurance companies for processing claims and obtaining pre-authorizations for procedures Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry standards Perform administrative duties such as billing, filing, and data entry as required by the office manager Need 1-2 years experience in setting Active American Heart Association BLS certification required Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
