- Description
- Experience with Unlimited Financial Systems (UFS) is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities
- Review, scrub, and submit electronic claims daily for professional medical services.
- Ensure claims are coded appropriately and meet payer-specific billing requirements prior to submission.
- Monitor claim status and follow up on unpaid, rejected, or pending claims.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies.
- Submit corrected claims and appeals as necessary.
- Work closely with providers, clinical staff, and management to resolve billing issues.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and eligibility to ensure billing accuracy.
- Post and reconcile payments, adjustments, and insurance remittances as needed.
- Maintain compliance with payer regulations, HIPAA requirements, and billing best practices.
- Generate and review accounts receivable reports to identify trends and areas requiring follow-up.
- Assist with other revenue cycle functions as assigned.

- Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience, preferably in a specialty practice setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, claim submission, insurance verification, and denial management.
- Experience working with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid payers.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management systems.
- Experience with Unlimited Financial Systems (UFS) is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marlton, NJ.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
