RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Medical Billing/Collections Professional you will be primarily responsible for resolving denied/underpaid claims and following up with insurances for collecting reimbursements. These position openings prefer experience working with musculoskeletal specialties such as Orthopedics or Pain Management. Other responsibilities may include claims submission, attorney follow up, and other duties as they pertain to medical billing and collections.REQUIREMENTS STRONG
desire to resolve claims and COLLECT insurance reimbursements for your client Excellent organization and problem solving skills High degree of accuracy for detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and within a group Professional, friendly and pleasant personality MUST have at least 2 years experience in medical billing follow up or medical claims collections Strong knowledge of computerized billing software Strong Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel and Word) Any of the following experiences or skills are a plus:- Experience with Pain Management and Orthopedic specialties
- Experience with Surgery Center billing
- Knowledge of practice management systems Athena, eClinicalWorks (eCW) or Eclipse
