Our Wall Township vascular practice is looking for an experienced medical biller with a strong background in billing, collection and appeals. Must be familiar with

CPT & ICD 10

codes, although Dr. does his own coding. Must have at least 3 years' experience in reviewing EOBs, posting and modifiers. Knowledge & experience with appeals process and identifying & resolving patient/insurer billing issues are necessary. Our staff will rely on you for Eligibility & Benefit information for Medicare & Commercial insurance companies. Collection of delinquent accounts & a low Age Trial Balance are of priority. Patient billing statements and secondary insurance billing are done monthly.

Software's:

Allscripts, Payer Path, Availity & Epic. Good communication skills & the ability to multi-task & be highly organized and detailed-oriented are necessary . A pleasant nature is essential for patient interaction & being a team worker. The office handles carotid, bypass grafts, aneurysm & dialysis surgery and offers a full time vascular lab for ultrasounds. Billing for the vascular lab is part of the job description. Our hours of operation are 8:00am to 4:00 pm with a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday. This is a full time position with benefits & is located in a cheerful, bright environment with five other employees. 3 references are needed.
