Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller to support accurate and timely revenue cycle operations for a temp-to-perm opportunity. The role requires knowledge of the full billing cycle, including claim submission, payment posting, denial resolution, and patient account management. Key Responsibilities Submit electronic and paper claims as required. Review and resolve claim denials, escalating issues when necessary. Post payments promptly and accurately. Use payer websites to review claims, appeal denials, and confirm payment status. Manage patient balances, establish payment arrangements, and respond to inquiries. Update insurance information and verify active patient coverage. Answer incoming calls to assist patients or clinic staff with billing questions. Provide backup within the billing team as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of medical billing experience. Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans is a plus. Solid understanding of revenue cycle operations. Comfortable navigating payer portals and practice management systems. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
