Job Overview:
``` We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join our medical office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing and collection of medical services for our private medical practice.
`` Responsibilities include:
``` Responsible for entering charges and submitting claims to insurance companies and then posting payments, and performing appropriate follow up as needed. Works directly with insurance companies, providers and patients to get claims processed and paid appropriately. Provider, patient and insurance company interactions, reviewing EOB's and claim submission. Working aged A/R as needed. Contract billing for remote facilities on a monthly basis. ```
Experience:
```
  • Previous experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role preferred.
  • Proficiency in using medical scheduling systems. Experience with Allscripts/Veridigm beneficial
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses
  • Familiarity with medical records management and confidentiality protocols
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
