Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dental Office Insurance Coordinator to join our dynamic dental practice team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary liaison between patients, insurance companies, and the dental office, ensuring smooth and efficient processing of insurance claims and patient billing. Your expertise will help maximize reimbursements, reduce claim denials, and enhance patient satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your medical billing knowledge and customer service skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care. Duties Review patient insurance information and verify coverage details accurately before procedures Prepare and submit insurance claims using Dentrix software Follow up on unpaid or denied claims promptly, resolving issues with insurance providers to secure payment Maintain detailed records of dental records and payment histories within our software Communicate clearly with patients regarding their insurance benefits, coverage limitations, and out-of-pocket costs Collaborate with dental staff and doctors to ensure all procedures are accurately documented with appropriate dental coding for billing purposes Stay updated on dentalcare claims management policies and changes in dental insurance regulations to ensure compliance Skills Proficiency and familiarity with software applications tailored for dental offices Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for managing patient records and billing information Strong understanding of dental insurance policies, benefits verification, and dental collections procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex insurance information clearly and professionally Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior experience in a medical office setting or dental practice is highly preferred Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to providing outstanding dental care while ensuring seamless insurance processing.
