ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Review clinical documentation to ensure coding accuracy, billing integrity, and regulatory compliance. Accurately enter, prepare, and submit medical insurance claims in a timely manner in accordance with payer requirements. Investigate and resolve claim rejections, denials, and underpayments to facilitate accurate and timely reimbursement. Post payments and contractual adjustments; reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records. Communicate effectively with insurance carriers and other third-party payers to obtain claim status and resolve discrepancies. Maintain strict patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

$21.55 - $29.55 per hour
