Our busy seven provider cardiology practice located in Brick, NJ is looking for a

FULL TIME

medical biller/coder to join our team. Please note this is NOT a remote, work from home position.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Able to troubleshoot/problem solve
• Skilled in written and oral communication Job duties include, but are not limited to:
• Medical claims A/R follow up, denials, and appeals
• E/M and procedure coding/charge entry (CPT/ICD/HCPCS) for office and hospital services
• Insurance benefit verification and patient account management
• Payment posting and reconciling daily receipts

Minimum Requirements:

• HS diploma
• 2 years professional experience in a medical practice as a medical biller/coder/collector
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows 11 Desired Skills/Knowledge
• Revenue cycle management experience
• Experience with NextGen software (preferred)
• Cardiology coding/claims experience
• Medicare rules and regulations
