Not specified Responsibilities- Assist Senior Manager, Billing and Client Experience as requested to oversee the operations of the billing department, encompassing patient billing, client billing, payment posting, accounts receivable follow up, and collections.
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and remittance advice to ensure accurate payment processing.
- Conduct billing operations in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol and are in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and requirements.
- Work closely with CFO on revenue and KPI dashboards.
- Invoicing of patient bill cases daily accordingly to clinic pricing contract.
- Invoicing of client bill accounts month end.
- Follow up and reconciliation of payments for patient bill and client bill cases.
- Assist patient and clinics with inquiries related to billing questions and insurance reimbursement.
- Work closely with Client Services and assist as needed.
- Communicate with patients, and staff regarding billing inquiries and account resolution.
- Maintain detailed documentation of billing activities and account follow-up efforts.
- Assist patients with questions regarding balances, and payment options.
- Stay current on billing regulations and coding updates. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare or billing education preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of medical billing or related experience preferred.
- Experience with accounts receivables a plus.
- Knowledge of medical billing procedures and reimbursement practices.
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) and medical billing software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
