Day shift 8 AM - 5 Pm Job Summary We're hiring a detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Specialist to support accurate, compliant billing and smooth reimbursement workflows. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with clinical teams, and taking pride in clean claims and well-managed accounts. Experience in
PEDIATRICS
is a plus, but not required. What You'll Do Review and analyze patient accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance Assign appropriate ICD-10 (and when applicable
CPT/HCPCS
) codes based on documentation Prepare, submit, and follow up on claims for timely insurance reimbursement Identify billing errors, denials, and payment variances; research root causes and resolve issues Work denials, corrections, and re-bills while maintaining clear documentation of actions taken Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to clarify documentation and billing details Maintain accurate records and follow established policies, payer rules, and regulatory requirements Support ongoing revenue cycle improvements by spotting trends and recommending fixes What We're Looking For Prior experience in medical coding, medical billing, and/or revenue cycle management (RCM) Strong working knowledge of ICD-10 and medical terminology High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently Professional communication skills with patients, payers, and clinical teams Epic Resolute and/or Epic Cadence experience is a plus (not required) Preferred Experience billing for
PEDIATRICS
