8am-5pm Position Overview M Force Partners is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to support high-volume billing and revenue cycle activities for multiple healthcare entities in Knoxville, TN. This position is responsible for processing claims, following up with insurance carriers, resolving denials and billing discrepancies, and helping ensure accurate and timely reimbursement. The ideal Medical Biller has hands-on experience managing billing for multiple entities and working with a broad range of government and commercial payers. Candidates should be comfortable handling high claim volumes while maintaining accuracy across different payer requirements and billing processes. Key Responsibilities Manage medical billing activities across multiple healthcare entities Prepare, review, and submit medical claims to government and commercial insurance payers Process and follow up on claims involving Commercial Insurance, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, TennCare, Medicaid, Medicaid Advantage, VA, and Humana Military Monitor claim status and perform timely follow-up on unpaid, rejected, and denied claims Research and resolve insurance denials, billing discrepancies, and claim errors Correct and resubmit claims according to individual payer requirements Maintain accurate patient demographics, insurance information, charges, payments, adjustments, and billing records Reconcile billing activity and ensure transactions are properly recorded Communicate directly with insurance carriers regarding claim status, eligibility, reimbursement, and billing issues Maintain accurate documentation of claim activity and follow-up efforts Manage a high volume of claims across multiple entities while meeting productivity and turnaround expectations Support accounts receivable and revenue cycle activities Follow payer-specific billing requirements and healthcare compliance standards Identify recurring claim or denial issues and assist with improving billing processes Maintain organized and audit-ready billing documentation Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Previous professional medical billing experience Experience managing medical billing for multiple entities, practices, locations, or provider groups Experience submitting, processing, and following up on medical insurance claims Experience researching and resolving denied, rejected, and unpaid claims Working knowledge of government and commercial payer billing requirements Experience with medical billing or practice management software Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy Ability to manage high claim volumes and multiple billing priorities Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills Professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to work 100% onsite in Knoxville, TN Payer Experience Candidates should have medical billing experience involving multiple payer types, including: Commercial Insurance Medicare Medicare Advantage TennCare Medicaid Medicaid Advantage VA Humana Military Preferred Qualifications Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, TennCare, VA, and military-related healthcare billing Experience with multiple healthcare entities or multi-provider organizations Familiarity with ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes Experience with EHR and integrated medical billing systems Accounts receivable or healthcare revenue cycle experience Medical billing or coding certification Experience identifying payer-specific denial trends and resolving complex reimbursement issues Job presented by M Force Partners M Force Partners is a specialized recruitment partner connecting top-tier talent with leading organizations.
