Responsibilities Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims using billing software, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Review patient records to ensure proper coding using CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group), and ICD coding standards Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through healthcare claims management processes and medical collections Verify patient insurance coverage and explain billing procedures clearly to patients Maintain detailed medical records and ensure all billing documentation complies with healthcare regulations Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses, procedures, and coding details as needed Stay updated on changes in health insurance policies, medical coding standards, and billing regulations to ensure ongoing compliance Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and coding practices including

ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT
