Duties Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate

ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT

(Current Procedural Terminology), and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) codes with precision. Prepare and submit clean claims for insurance reimbursement using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective medical collection practices to maximize revenue. Ensure all billing activities comply with healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and payer requirements. Maintain detailed documentation of medical records, coding decisions, and billing transactions for audit readiness. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses or procedures when necessary for accurate coding. Stay updated on changes in medical terminology, coding standards, and insurance policies to ensure ongoing compliance. Experience Proven experience in medical billing and coding within a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of

ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT

coding systems, along with familiarity with DRG classifications. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems to manage medical records and billing workflows effectively.
