ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT

codes, and DRG classifications based on documented diagnoses and procedures Ensure all coding aligns with current coding guidelines, medical terminology, and payer requirements Prepare accurate and complete medical bills utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) or electronic health record (EHR) systems Submit claims promptly to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective medical collection strategies Maintain thorough documentation of coding decisions, billing activities, and correspondence related to patient accounts Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation or resolve discrepancies in medical records Stay updated on changes in coding regulations, insurance policies, and healthcare compliance standards Experience Proven experience in medical coding and billing within a healthcare setting, with familiarity using EMR/EHR systems Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology necessary for accurate coding Experience working with

ICD-10, CPT
