Job Description

,About the Position We are seeking an in-house experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, insurance claims processing, accounts receivable management, and payer follow-up. Experience with dermatology billing is highly preferred. Responsibilities Submit and track insurance claims accurately and timely Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims Post payments and reconcile accounts Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits Review EOBs and ERAs for accuracy Work accounts receivable and collections queues Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claim status and appeals Maintain compliance with payer regulations and billing guidelines Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve billing issues Ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping Qualifications Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience required Dermatology billing experience strongly preferred Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding Experience with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers Strong understanding of claims management and revenue cycle processes Proficiency with EMR/EHR and billing software systems Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Paid time off and holidays Health insurance benefits Retirement plan options Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth and development How to Apply Qualified candidates should submit a resume outlining relevant experience and billing specialties.
