Adept Dental Group is seeking an experienced California EFDA to join our team. We are a fast-paced, well-established, multi-doctor practice with an incredible team culture and a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care. We're looking for someone who is confident in their clinical skills, enjoys working independently, and takes ownership of their work. This is an excellent opportunity for an EF who wants to fully utilize their expanded functions—not just assist chairside. What You'll Be Doing As one of our Expanded Functions Dental Assistants, you'll work closely with our doctors to provide efficient, high-quality treatment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Seating and cementing crowns and bridges Finishing and polishing composite restorations after the doctor completes the preparation Fabricating, adjusting, and cementing temporary crowns Taking digital radiographs and intraoral scans Assisting during restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures as needed Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining exceptional infection control standards Educating patients before and after treatment Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Helping create a smooth, positive patient experience from start to finish What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Holds a current California Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification Has experience seating crowns and completing expanded function restorative procedures Is confident working independently while knowing when to collaborate with the doctor Works efficiently without sacrificing quality Takes pride in producing beautiful, long-lasting restorations with excellent attention to detail Understands that exceptional patient care always comes before rushing through procedures Is dependable, organized, and takes ownership of their work Communicates professionally and compassionately with patients and teammates Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice Has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to continue learning and growing We're looking for someone who truly enjoys the clinical side of dentistry—someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, values efficiency without compromising quality, and wants to be part of a team that strives for excellence every day.
