We are seeking a full-time Legal Calendar Clerk. This is an in-person position Monday-Friday. Calendar clerk handles scheduling for the firm, mainly setting depositions and helping secretaries get ready for QME and AME appointments. You'll work closely with attorneys, secretaries, court reporters, interpreters, and opposing counsel so that every deadline and appointment is set correctly and on time. You'll also handle filing and general office support to keep the practice running smoothly. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Schedule applicant, witness, and lien claimant depositions. Coordinate dates with opposing counsel, court reporters, and interpreters. Prepare and serve Notices of Deposition, and handle rescheduling and cancellations. Help secretaries prepare for QME/AME appointments, including tracking appointment dates, organizing medical records Look up case information and hearing dates in EAMS. Maintain physical and electronic case files, including scanning, indexing, and saving incoming mail and documents. Provide general admin support, such as asssiting with mail, making copies, ordering Communicate professionally with clients, adjusters, medical offices, and outside vendors.
Position requires:
