Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Orthodontic Chairside Assistant who is not only clinically skilled but also a strong team leader who can help drive efficiency, accountability, and excellence within our clinic. Position Overview This is a key leadership role within our clinical team. The ideal candidate is an experienced orthodontic assistant with a DC Level II Dental Assistant License , a minimum of 5 years of orthodontic chairside experience , and a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams . Key Responsibilities Lead and support the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations and optimal patient flow Assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures with efficiency and precision Take diagnostic records including X-rays, photos, and scans Train, mentor, and hold team members accountable to clinical standards and protocols Oversee operatory setup, sterilization, and compliance with OSHA and infection control standards Collaborate with the Office Manager and doctors to improve clinic performance and patient experience Proactively identify opportunities to enhance productivity and workflow Qualifications DC Level II Dental Assistant License (Required) Minimum 5+ years of orthodontic chairside experience Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures, appliances, and workflow Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to lead by example with professionalism, positivity, and accountability Radiology certification required What We're Looking For A natural leader who takes ownership and drives results Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment A team player who is committed to both patient care and team success Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive, team-oriented culture Modern, fully digital private orthodontic practice Consistent schedule with a focus on work-life balance If you are an experienced orthodontic assistant ready to step into a leadership role and make a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you.
