As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. You will be expected to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that the operation runs smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and training staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Essential Functions Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service Manage and train staff Maintain inventory Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations Weekly Par check and order review Monthly inventory preparation and lead count Internal Relationships Reports to General Manager External Relationships Has regular contact with Members and Guests. Qualifications and Education/Experience Requirements 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field Experience with inventory management software Experience with scheduling software Experience with budget management Physical Requirements Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
