Tennis Pro Shop Attendant MG Tennis - 5.0 Orlando, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $14 - $19 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Guest relations Computer literacy Counting cash Merchandising English Cleaning Stocking Computer skills Full Job Description The purpose of the Tennis Court Pro-Shop Assistant at Lake Cane Tennis Center is to ensure that the tennis courts and surrounding areas are clean and maintained in accordance with the high standards of Lake Cane Tennis Center and MG Tennis. The ideal candidate must have open availability, excellent customer service skills, and be comfortable speaking with members and guests in a courteous and professional manner always. Primary duties will require the daily answering of phones, greet walk-in customers, build rapport, proactively offer assistance, help customers find products and make recommendations based on their needs, setup ball machines and some stringing. Primary Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures.
  • Operate Pro Shop register software as well as court reservation system.
  • Keep merchandise neatly displayed and stocked.
  • Greet members and guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Report any equipment or other issues in need of repair to the Retail Manager & Tennis Director.
  • Operates all equipment related to tennis court maintenance including blower and court squeegees. Qualifications and Characteristics Required
  • Proficient in speaking English well enough to receive and follow instruction.
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment including blowers and court squeegees.
  • Ability to count and handle money with accuracy.
  • Ability to operate a computer efficiently. Physical/Mental Requirements
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to endure long periods of standing, sitting and walking.
  • Must be able to stand, run, bend and be active for long periods of time.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$14.00 - $19.00 per hour
