Job Summary Second Serve Courts is looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our growing sport court restoration crew in the Atlanta Metro area.

NO COURT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

We provide paid training and will teach you our court restoration and resurfacing process. We specialize in restoring and resurfacing existing tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts. This is an opportunity to learn a specialized trade, receive paid training, and work on projects throughout the Atlanta area. Experience in painting, concrete, asphalt, landscaping, pressure washing, construction, or general labor is a plus, but reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are more important. Duties Depending on the project, your responsibilities may include: Inspecting existing sport courts for cracks, surface damage, drainage issues, deterioration, and other conditions that may affect the finished product Preparing and cleaning existing sport court surfaces Blowing, scraping, pressure washing, and otherwise preparing surfaces for restoration Scraping and removing deteriorated or failing surface materials when necessary Repairing cracks and surface damage Properly mixing court resurfacing materials, acrylic products, coatings, and silica sand/texturing aggregate according to product specifications Applying acrylic resurfacing materials, coatings, sealers, and color coats Squeegeeing and spreading court coatings evenly and consistently Painting and striping tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts Converting existing tennis courts into pickleball courts Following proper procedures when handling coatings, cleaning chemicals, and other job materials Safely operating court-restoration and surface-preparation equipment Communicating professionally with customers, property managers, HOA representatives, and other personnel when working on-site Working as part of a small crew Field Assessments & Court Quotes As you gain experience, you may also be asked to help us evaluate potential restoration projects in the field. When Second Serve Courts receives permission from an HOA, property manager, tennis facility, homeowner, or other property owner to inspect a court for a potential project, you may be responsible for gathering the information needed for us to prepare a quote.

This may include:

Measuring the court and relevant areas Measuring and documenting cracks and other surface damage Taking detailed photos of the court Taking videos of the court and problem areas Capturing drone photos or video when appropriate and permitted Documenting drainage and surrounding conditions Assessing the overall condition of the court surface Identifying areas that may require additional preparation or repair Recording measurements, observations, and other relevant information Sending photos, videos, measurements, and field notes back to Second Serve Courts You will not be responsible for determining the final price of the project. Your responsibility is to collect accurate, thorough information from the field. Second Serve Courts will handle the estimating, pricing, and customer proposal. As you gain experience and demonstrate reliability, this can become an important part of your role and may lead to increased responsibility and compensation. This position focuses exclusively on court restoration and resurfacing. We do not perform new court construction. Pay $22-$28 per hour , depending on experience, skill level, and responsibilities. As you develop additional skills and take on more responsibility, there may be opportunities for increased pay and advancement. Flexible, On-Call Work This is a project-based position with a flexible schedule . We coordinate our crew through a private WhatsApp group . When a project becomes available, we post: Job location Dates and expected hours Scope of work Pay rate Any additional job details Crew members let us know their availability, and we build the crew for each project. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on the number of projects available. You are not required to accept every project, but once you commit to a job, we expect you to show up on time and ready to work.
