Bethesda, MD Job Details Part-time $18 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment operation Equipment safety procedures Outdoor work experience Carpentry repair tasks Employee relationship building Fence repair Outdoor debris cleaning Park infrastructure maintenance Nails for fastening Equipment maintenance Clean workspace maintenance Entry level Woodworking Full Job Description Job Title Racket sports Maintenance (Tennis & Pickleball) Part Time position Responsibilities The Court Maintenance team works on a diverse range of activities involved in the upkeep of the tennis/pickleball courts, including areas surrounding the courts and performs related tasks as required Provides a clean, safe, and secure environment within the Tennis/Pickleball courts area, such that Members and Guests can feel relaxed and at home Maintain courts in a professional manner and ensure that the environment is consistently safe for all those who use the facility Complete assigned tasks that range from simple to more complex such as but not limited to: brush and line tennis courts, blowing off sidewalks, pulling weeds, repairing fences, carpentry work, reapply clay, resurface courts, etc Prepare the har-tru outdoor courts during the months of March-April for the season, by applying material and nailing down the lines Operate, maintain, and clean equipment and power tools in accordance with operating instructions and safety rules Always maintain the appropriate levels of tennis/pickleball area amenities This includes, but is not limited to towels, cups, ice, and coolers To maintain all equipment in proper working condition and in compliance with local health codes Responsible for seeing that daily assignments are completed in the respective areas, to meet Club standards
