Long-Term Temp We are hiring an Administrative Clerk to support our client's busy administrative and court-related operations in Biddeford, Maine. This position pays $23 per hour and is a long-term temporary assignment that offers consistent weekday hours and valuable experience in a structured, professional environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detail-oriented administrative work while gaining exposure to legal and court processes , making perfect for someone who likes a challenge and work that is different every day.

Typical daily duties:

Provide internal and external customer service, including answering and directing phone calls Perform data entry, document filing, scanning, faxing, and record keeping Docket, process, and file matters, and assist with scheduling and maintaining records Handle and process fines, fees, and payments, maintaining accurate ledgers and accounts Prepare reports and abstracts for agencies and maintain documentation as required Communicate professionally with the public, judges, attorneys, and government agencies Operate recording equipment, maintain logs, and support courtroom or hearing activities Assist with jury management tasks, including preparing lists and sending questionnaires Monitor office supplies and provide general administrative support as needed What we're looking for: High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience with office work required Legal industry experience preferred but not required Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with standard office equipment and computer systems High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage sensitive information To be considered for this Assistant Clerk opening in Biddeford, please contact us using any of the methods below.
