Court Clerk

Mackinac County 92nd District Court is seeking applicants for a Court Clerk Under the general direction of the Court Administrator and Judge, this position performs a variety of complex clerical tasks, involving the processing of criminal, friend of the court, divorce, civil, and traffic cases. As well as civil and probate cases in a backup capacity. Assists probation officer as needed with drug testing and data entry. Provides assistance and directions on court matters to attorneys, law enforcement officers, staff members and the public. Accounts for monies paid for fines, costs, filing fees, and bonds. Types a variety of court documents, enters case information to the computer system, and performs a variety of related tasks. Applicant must possess a valid driver's license. A criminal history check and drug test will be required. Mackinac County resident preferred.
